Se propusieron dos debates en el weblog con el propósito de, en primera medida, que los alumnos se familiaricen con la herramienta y, además para que ejerciten y profundicen las practicas discursivas basadas en el lenguaje multimedia en general y las posibilidades de realización periodísticas que las nuevas tecnologías ofrecen, en particular.
El primer debate tuvo como tema propuesto el papel del periodismo y su acercamiento-distanciamiento con los hechos que aborda a diario.
El disparador del segundo debate fueron las denuncias cruzadas entre El Periodista Digital y El País y El Mundo de España. En este sentido se abrió el debate acerca del rol de los medios alternativos y digitales y si la información es un derecho o un bien intercambiable.
Además, se reflexionó grupalmente con relación a “Educación y Cultura: Horizontes fundamentales del periodismo electrónico”
Mediante la lista de correos (Grupo Yahoo) se socializaron distintas noticias que fueron publicando los medios durante la cursada. El propósito fue la participación digital y la reflexión sobre temas de actualidad relacionados al periodismo digital.
Tales artículos fueron, entre otros:
Humanismo en el ciberespacio (reloaded)
Redacciones digitales: el nuevo periodismo se hace en Internet
Habrá que seguir en moviento. Se viene el trabajo final, así que a redoblar las fuerzas y a trabajar que se nos viene el fin de año.
